H O B B I E S & I N T E R E S T S I am really into Fruit Machine Emulation, or FME for short. This allows you to play the actual fruit machines that you would play now in the amusement arcades and pubs and clubs. It has really helped me to curb my gambling, which was abysmal in my earlier youth. I can now actually play and enjoy the fun of the game, without it costing me a penny. I admit that you cannot win anything, but it doesn't cost you anything either, so ultimately saves you loads of pennies! You need the emulators to play the games and the layout and roms, but once you have them and installed them correctly to play in the emulator, then you are away! I also like playing on the Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS). I have it installed on my computer and laptop, and have purchased quite a few routes for it to add to the orginial six that come with the game. You can get used to a route by driving it in explore mode, or you can take a ride as a passenger in the introductory train ride mode. If you are feeling brave and adventurous, you can even drive the train in activity mode - can you keep to schedule? Also I have just brought Kuju's brilliant Rail Simulator, with 3D graphics and realistic views. It's absolutely brilliant! I also like to keep up-to-date with current events, so tune into BBC News and go to their website. |
