 It would have been my late nephew's 32nd birthday today.
Jeremy Adrian was born on 23 July 1977, and died just three months later on 4 November 1977, from cot death. I still think about him, and love him, and will always remember his birthday and memorium days.

Today, my great-niece Natalie, has given birth to a baby girl, weighing in a 6lb 5oz.
I have been made a great-great uncle for the first time, and it honestly makes me sound ancient! Natalie is the daughter of my nephew and godson Christopher. So he has become a Grandad!! Both are, apparently, doing well in Kings Mill Hospital. I shall go and see them tomorrow.
A great-great uncle eh? I am only in my 40s - it's not fair!! But it's lovely at the same time.

There has been a memorial today in Hyde Park, London, for the 52 people who died following the terrorist attacks in London in 2005.
HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and other dignitaries joined family members and survivors of those caught in the attacks on the London transport services that fateful day.

Today is Independence Day in the United States of America. They gained their independence from the British, where we ruled the Americas as the Colonies.
The USA today, is by far, the Earth's greatest superpower. It has considerable might over how some countries are rules, even though they have no say in those countries. Hi - my name is Daryl and this is my Blog page on my website.
I am 43-years-old and live in a groundfloor flat in my hometown of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, in Nottinghamshire.
I am disabled so living in a groundfloor flat is ideally suited for me.
I have my Mam, one brother and three sisters. My mother is married to my stepfather Mac. My father, Ted, died on New Year's Eve 2001.
